What We Carry
Late April/May:
Strawberries and asparagus begin to appear, which run through June.
By the Fourth of July
We have Jersey Fresh Corn and soon after we have our own field grown tomatoes (we start our tomatoes in a cold frame house directly in the field, so you get the taste of a field grown tomato much earlier than field grown tomatoes usually start). Cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, squash, eggplant, blackberries, raspberries, and our own fresh cut flowers follow soon after, and by the end of July we have a full complement of our own fresh vegetables.
As the season progresses
We have bulk available for freezing or canning. In addition to our own vegetables and berries, we buy in peaches, nectarines, blueberries, plums and various other fruits. Additionally, we carry local honey and other local products.
In the fall
We carry pumpkins, cornstalks, bales of hay, and potted mums.
